The problem

Support agents retype (or copy from a notes file) the same refund, delay, invoice and escalation replies all day, then fix the customer's name and order number by hand.

The fix: Save your replies as snippets with shortcuts. In any reply box, type /refund and press Enter — the snippet is inserted with {{name}}, {{order_id}} and {{amount}} filled from the ticket on screen.

How it works

1. 1Open your helpdesk and click the extension → Enable on this site.
2. 2Six ready-made snippets are included — edit them or add your own in Settings.
3. 3In a reply box type / and the shortcut (e.g. /refund), use ↑ ↓ and press Enter.
4. 4Variables are filled from the ticket; anything missing is asked once before inserting.

Privacy & permissions

Chrome will show these permissions when you install. Here's exactly why each one is needed:

storage

Saves your snippets and settings in this browser.

activeTab

Lets you copy a snippet from the popup on the current tab.

scripting

Runs the / menu on help-desk websites you enabled.

site access (asked per site)

Snippets must work whenever you type, so you enable each help-desk website once. Only those websites are accessed.
